WaveLAN Driver for FreeBSD 2.2.7
Version 1.2 of our WaveLAN driver for FreeBSD is now available.
Notable changes:
- Based directly on FreeBSD's PCCARD support. PAO is not
required and has not been tested with this code.
- Added support for WaveLAN-I 2.4 GHz card
- Fixed a bug in the roaming code that would sometimes cause
the card to hang.

WaveLAN Driver for FreeBSD 2.2.2
The Rice Monarch Project is proud to announce the availability of
our WaveLAN
network interface device driver for
FreeBSD 2.2.2.
This driver supports the 900 MHz WaveLAN PCMCIA PC Card and
includes full support for the WaveLAN Roaming Protocol. It is
based upon PAO-970616,
a PCMCIA package provided by Tatsumi Hosokawa.

Notes
This driver supports only the WaveLAN-I product. It does not
support the new WaveLAN-II product that uses the IEEE 802.11 MAC
protocol. There no FreeBSD drivers currently available for the
WaveLAN-II that we know of. We do not currently have anyone here
assigned to write one, and so cannot provide any timeline for when we
might provide one.
